If you have never been to Ibiza before then you’re in for a treat!
This tiny but vibrant Island has a lot to offer and a reputation to boast.
Though it is best known for its hedonistic night life,
Ibiza has so much more to offer and we are planning a week of fun activities,
adventures and nights out from Saturday the 12th to Saturday the 19th of June
to share with you all the hidden gems of this beautiful island.
We have been coming to Ibiza together for many years and it holds a very special place in our hearts. We love the sun, the beaches, the food, the vibe and the magical atmosphere which is why there was never any doubt in our minds as to where our wedding ceremony would take place.
There are a large number of accommodation choices and locations in Ibiza to suit most budgets and requirements
and of course you can choose to stay in any of these.
Having considered the large number of people that will
be coming however, we think it would be nice as well as easy if we could all stay in the same location.
The place we have in mind is the Pueblo Asparagos in Calla Llonga which is a lovely little
development of self catering apartments built in the 70s in the traditional ibicienco style.
There are a number of facilities within the complex - 2 pools, 2 Bars and 1 decent restaurant - whilst Cala Llonga village (a 10 minutes walk) has a picturesque bay, supermarkets, restaurants and plenty of bars to keep you occupied through the day and night.
Thought it is not necessary we would recommend renting a car for your stay in Ibiza.
It makes getting around the island and exploring so much easier.
We would advise looking into car hire online as early as possible for the best deals.
Alternatively, if you would rather book on your arrival in Ibiza, Autos Mari (in Santa Eulalia)
offers the most competitive prices. (Map here)
Please note however that prices do go up over the summer period and not
securing a car early can work out much more expensive later.
We have chosen a beautiful, quiet beach for the wedding called Cala Carbo which is located on the south
western side of the Island just south of the Mystical Island of Es Vedra.
The wedding will take place on the beach at around 18:00 on Thursday the 17th of June.
Following the ceremony, the reception will take place at a small restaurant on the same beach. It is going to be a real beach party, with music, dancing, a few surprises and real good times!
